About Town Therapy Club
An independent grassroots youth initiative. Healing Hazaribagh, one small step at a time.
How It All Started
Hazaribagh is our home. We’ve grown up on its streets, celebrated festivals in its chowks, and shared countless memories under its skies.
But over time, we’ve also seen it fall victim to neglect — overflowing garbage dumps, broken roads, traffic jams, poor planning, and a lack of civic sense. Instead of waiting for someone else to fix things, we decided to step up and do something about it.
That’s how Town Therapy Club was born on Independence Day — a group of citizens who love this town a little too much to just sit back and complain.
Our Philosophy & Emblem
Why "Town Therapy"?
The name says it all — our town needs therapy.
Just like people, towns can get sick too. They need care, attention, and sometimes a little tough love to get better. We’re here to be that therapy — a movement where citizens, humor, and hands-on action come together to revive the spirit of Hazaribagh.
What We Do
We believe change doesn’t always have to be boring or serious. It can be creative, bold, and even fun.
Clean-Up Drives
Rolling up our sleeves to tackle garbage dumps, polluted lake banks at Hazaribagh Jheel, and neglected public spaces with our dedicated volunteer taskforces.
Tree Plantations ("हज़ार बाग़ों का शहर")
Adding more green to our grey streets and keeping Hazaribagh true to its royal heritage: "Hazar Baagon Ka Shahar". We plant and adopt native shade and fruit trees.
Awareness Campaigns
Using street art, public posters, market walks, and digital messaging to spark vital conversations about civic sense, waste segregation, and community pride.
Satirical Activism
From witty chalk posters on potholes to sarcastic celebration signs on overflowing trash, we use humor to highlight serious problems and promote community responsibility.
Our Mission
To heal Hazaribagh through action and awareness. We don’t just point fingers — we point out problems, offer realistic solutions, and roll up our sleeves to make them happen.
